if we’re gonna have Bucky Bear’s plushie arm ripped off

then can we have Steve being absolutely devastated and tearing up in the middle of the street and then the rest of the Avengers trying to come up with ways of fixing it because they can’t stand that

because I firmly believe every one of them would be in favor of giving Bucky some kind of weapon-arm so he never gets stolen again, they all love their weapons even as babies

but since they’re babies and Steve still has to sleep with Bucky Bear, it doesn’t actually pack much of a punch but it LOOKS deadly

which is how the Bucky plushie ends up with a metal arm, it’s a surprise from the other Avengers to Steve
